Backups and recovery

How TurboStack backs up your host and how to restore data when you need it.

Hosted Power takes managed backups of your environment as part of the Service Level Agreement (SLA), so you can recover after a mistake, a bad deploy, or an incident.

Automatic backups

  • Backups run daily and are kept for 20 days. This applies to every TurboStack environment, whichever SLA tier you are on. Need a longer retention or extra snapshots? Ask Support.

  • They cover your environment - the application files and databases on the host.

  • Because the platform backs up daily for you, running your own daily backup on the host is usually redundant and just consumes disk - see Disk full.

Restoring data

You restore from the host's Backups tab - browse the backup jobs, open a backup's contents, and restore files or a database (restore to staging first to verify, when you can).
