How to use phpMyAdmin

Open and use the pre-installed phpMyAdmin to manage your MySQL databases on TurboStack.

phpMyAdmin is a web-based tool for managing MySQL databases - create and edit tables, run SQL queries, manage users, and import or export data. On TurboStack hosts with MySQL enabled it is pre-installed, so there is nothing to set up.

Open phpMyAdmin

You need your SSH and database credentials from the host's Credentials tab.

From the platform: open the application's Configure application dialog, go to the Database Info tab (Applications), and select Go to phpMyAdmin.

By URL: if that link is not available, browse to your domain with the /phpadm path, for example https://www.example.com/phpadm.

Either way you are first prompted for your SSH user (account name and password), then for your database credentials at the phpMyAdmin login screen.

Use it

Once logged in you can browse and edit databases and tables, run SQL from the SQL tab, manage database users, and import or export data (for large databases, prefer the command line - see Import and export a database).
